Here it is! The latest entry into the RAW RANDOS series, and also my love letter to the 860. For those that know me, you know that I rep CT to the fullest and will continue to do so for as long as I live. Across all my projects, I’ve always had at least one song that’s titled after some place I used to frequent back home. That same approach has been taken with VOL. 9006! When compiling & sequencing the tracks for this tape, I started thinking about spots I used to go to back when I still lived at home and how a good chunk of those spots have since closed down. This tape pays tribute to some of those places, and also to a local radio legend by the name of Linda Reynolds, who hosts the “Late Night Love” hour on Hot 93.7, whose show I used to always catch on the radio when going out or leaving somewhere.
In short, this tape is for all the night owls & party-goers in the 860. Play this tape when you’re leaving the function, and looking to bump something chill when you’re on I-84 or I-91 headed back home, passing all the locations where these legendary spots used to be. Reminisce, Relax, and Drive Safe!
